The day he was born..

as early as 2.30am in the morning, i have been having strong contractions.. not too close together, still about 10-15 minutes apart.. but i know it's coming coz they are much stronger than the ones i normally have for the past few days - the Braxton-Hicks'.. i slept on and off until about subuh time, when we decided that we should call my mom to come over and check up on us..  both doctors in da house cannot handle this situation.. haha.. well.. by that time i have been having contractions 5-7 minutes apart, some lasts longer than others.. mak came over at about 7+, and after assessing the situation, she thought this is too irregular, the contractions were getting strong without going away completely.. i have lost track of the timing by that time.. so we got ourselves ready, abg decided to send our daughter to my parents' house, pick up my father and then proceed to the hospital, whilst mak brought me first to the hospital.. i have been seeing (just once!) this lady doctor, dr norintan, at columbia asia medical centre in S2, the week before.. so mak drove there, we arrived there, waited for abg, and whilst waiting i looked at the appointment card, and read "urgent cases for delivery, proceed to labour room in level 1".. mak asked the registration counter, and the pak guard pushed me on the wheelchair upstairs via the lift, into the labour room.. i was put into labour room 3, where the staffs, by now, have been calling me dr (and i said, today i am just a normal mom in labour!).. it must have been after 9am, when dr norintan arrived and did VE, it was just 3cm, and offered me entonox.. wow what a relief.. then abg had to register, so he left and went downstairs, by that time i was already high on the gas.. haha.. trying to inhale as much gas as possible.. i don't know how, i managed to text abg "jgn lama sangat, rasa cam nak terberanak.. pakai ento pun masih sakit" so he quickly came upstairs, had a look at me, still wriggling on the bed in pain with gas mask on my face.. then he told me he wanted to get something to eat, and left.. when he came back, i must have been dreaming several times.. in my dreams, i am delivering other people's babies, some 'dreams' sound like tape being rewinded.. weird huh..? suddenly i feel this urge to push, unfortunately i am in no strength to let anyone know coz i am so high on the gas, not even my beloved hubby who's sitting beside me, holding my hands all the time.. and because i have been remembering my first daughter's birth, i told the midwife, i didn't want to push, so i tried holding on to the feelings.. all of a sudden, i could hear abg called the nurses in, and then i realised that i have given birth to a baby!.. but everything went on so fast, and by the time dr norintan's in, the baby is already born!..
abg also said, when he saw the CTG being so 'weird', he looked underneath the cloth that is covering me, and saw the baby's already slipping out!
and the most special thing about this baby, he was born with his amniotic sac intact!!.. yes people, he came out in his comfort zone, the amniotic sac.. his home for 40 weeks.. i was shown the baby, and he was taken away from me coz i was still so high.. and the doctor and nurses sorted out everything else, the placenta, cleaning up the floor after breaking the sac (hahah!) and i had a few stitches.. gosh the LA hurt like h***!! even with the gas! but once it's done, i could only feel the dr 'working' but not feel the pain..
well.. everything is done and dusted, he was born within about 30 minutes after the VE even though theoretically, i still have long hours to go.. at least 4-5 hours.. and all were shell-shocked, including the dr herself! she kept saying sorry, but what to do? abg didn't expect, i didn't expect..
but alhamdulillah.. everything went on smoothly, i didn't have the pain for too long.. and the birth was uneventful.. i am so relieved, so grateful to Allah for this happy day, and i hope the birth of Danish Mujahid bin Mohamad Nurman on the 4th of April 2008 @ 0950 hours, weighing 3.1kg (exactly like his sister!) and 50cm long, will bring us closer together, until death do us part..
to my sweethearts, i love all of you with all my heart.. and i will be here for all of you as long as i live, insya Allah..

It has been a while
|
|
yes peeps.. it has been a while since i last updated photos and stuff.. but hey.. i have been away for quite some time.. i haven't been processing my photos as frequently as i have done before..
there are a few things that happened to me, and us over the last few months..
1. abi has been accepted to masters programme, thus he now lives in sjung, whilst we r stuck in kch.. 
2. my eldest sis had another baby (unplanned birth) on the 23rd of dec (supposedly the C-sect date was to be discussed with her own Obgyn after the 4th of Jan).. that's her 4th by the way.. and it's a girl..
3. my second eldest sis also gave birth earlier than expected, on the 18th of January instead of the 24th due date.. my parents booked flight to KK on the 20th.. so the lil girl has to wait for nenek and aki to come!
4. we have moved into our new house (Sweethearts' Vision) lil by lil, now the electrical appliances we have are just tv, fridge, kettle, 1 standing fan, 1 table fan, a study lamp, and a standing lamp.. the rest (lampu kipas etc yg attached tu dah ada lah).. oh ya, plus abi's laptops! we are still sleeping on the floor (atas tilam btw) selagi mampu.. and we are waiting for the right time before we buy proper furnitures etc..
5. me n the girl have to get back to kuching coz i need to sort out my study leave application and what not, and the people at the office have been asking about me.. haha..
6. and one good news just arrived... abi has got his leave on the 21st and 22nd of this month, and he's coming back to visit us!!.. how wonderful is that!!

5th anniversary
|

this year sambutan anniversary begitu sederhana.. just bought a cake, and celebrated it with PIL and family.. but the important thing is we are together, and our love is just as strong as ever..
may our family be blessed until the end of time.. until the hereafter.. until ke syurga.. amiin..
honey, i love you so much, just like the first day we are being united in the blessed relationship.. and this love is growing stronger each day.. and with the growing family members, insya ALlah this love will get stronger and stronger, nothing can ever break it..

i am heavily involved in this programme.. being one of the ajk, and even got a appreciation letter from the head of the committee who is the dep dean.. so my small piece of contribution has been recognised, and appreciated, which made me feel quite proud of myself! here's the activity in Bau.. first time i have been there.. and the place is unimas' own staff training center, so there's no problem in booking whatsoever.. and i just did the programme booklet anyway, so no big deal! but the ajk did love the simple yet functional booklet that i made! using publisher (which not very many are good at in this uni!how sad!)
